Wings of Hope Fundraising Gala:

On the 3rd weekend of November for the past two years, my vision of combining my two passions of aviation and epilepsy advocacy manifested into Wings of Hope: A Fundraising Gala Benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation of Alabama! From acquiring corporate sponsors and creating a silent auction to coordinating media presence and partnering with vendors, I am genuinely overwhelmed by the community’s support.  For two consecutive years, a SOLD OUT crowd of over 200 people gathered at The Southern Museum of Flight and celebrated.  I am honored to say that this gala raised over $65,000 for The Epilepsy Foundation…making Charlie’s Chance the largest individual fundraising contributor in the country!

Wings of Hope's first 2 years have been a smashing success and a huge win for the Epilepsy community!  So mark your calendar to join us next year on November 16, 2024...and annually thereafter on the 3rd Saturday of November.  We will spend the night celebrating the epilepsy warriors in our lives with dinner, live music, a silent auction, and lots of fun! Together we can help patients, just like my cousin Charlie Mae, to become OVERCOMERS!
