Wings of Hope Fundraising Gala​​

A night to celebrate courage, raise awareness, and fund change!

Each year in November, something truly special takes flight in Birmingham, Alabama. The Wings of Hope Fundraising Gala was born from my two greatest passions—aviation and epilepsy advocacy—and has become a powerful tradition that uplifts, honors, and unites our community.

​

What began as a vision has now become a movement. For the past four years, a combined 1,000 guests have gathered at the Southern Museum of Flight for an unforgettable evening filled with purpose. Through corporate sponsorships, a thoughtfully curated silent auction, media coverage, and unwavering community support, Wings of Hope has raised over $200,000—making Charlie’s Chance the largest individual fundraising contributor to the Epilepsy Foundation in the nation.

Each gala is more than a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of epilepsy warriors like my cousin, Charlie Mae, whose strength continues to inspire us all.
